Hi everyone! I'm Devyn. 

The stich witch behind Thread Head Denim. I've always had a passion for sewing, creating and altering clothing. At 15 my grandma gave me my first sewing machine and it was love at first stitch! My passion for upcycling thrifted clothing continued, but as I entered adulthood my favorite hobby seemed to dwindle away and take the back burner to, well, life. Then one frightful day Covid came along. The world stopped, but I had a birthday coming up and my darling Grandma had gifted me a new sewing machine. This one had an embroidery attachment to it. While I was overwhelmed, I was also intrigued. I took to it right away and started embroidering on thrifted pieces and vintage denim. I started posting my creations on Instagram and Facebook and after getting such amazing feedback I began to list them on sites like Poshmark and Depop. To my amazement they began to sell, so I kept sewing. Then came the day when restaurants were reopening, and I had a huge decision to make. Did I go back to what I'd known and what was at the time comfortable? Or do I invest in myself and take a shot at making this something and doing something I love? I decided to step into the unknown and take the shot. And thus Thread Head Denim was officially born on Cinco de Mayo of 2021. Ever since then I've been getting to do what I love on a daily basis. And all thanks to you! I am beyond grateful for how much love and support I've been given from all of you, you mean the world to me and none of this would be possible without you. So thank you for supporting me and my small business.
